7 Most Awaited Games in 2021, There are Hitman 3 and Far Cry 6


Whether it’s released on PC or exclusively on consoles, games that will be released always generate quite high hype . Last year, the gaming industry hit one of its highs with a pandemic forcing gamers to stay at home and spend their time playing games .

Apart from that, next-gen consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S were also released in the same year. So in 2021, there will be many amazing games to be released and most of them are highly anticipated or awaited by gamers . Here’s the list.

1. Hitman 3

So the 8th entry of the series as a whole, Hitman 3 concludes the World of Assassination trilogy, which was started by Hitman (2016) and then continued by Hitman 2 (2018). This stealth game is known by gamers and critics alike for its unique gameplay approach.

In this newest game, players will still act as Agent 47 who travels to various parts of the world to finish off their targets. Hitman 3 was released on January 20 and is available for various platforms such as PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch as well as PC.

2. Hello Infinite

Halo Infinite is the next game in the hugely popular Halo series. So the sixth game of the main Halo series and the 14th of the series as a whole, Infinite puts players back in the role of Master Chief. The game was originally slated for release in 2020, but has been pushed back to 2021 as are most of the games on this list.

Infinite will still carry the traditional FPS mechanism, while presenting new enemies and a fresher story. This game, which also has a multiplayer mode , will be released in late 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC.

3. Horizon Forbidden West

Horizon Zero Dawn got tremendous success when it was released in 2017 ago. Three years later, Aloy’s story of saving the world from a dangerous machine continues through Horizon Forbidden West.

Guerilla Games as the developer said that the sequel will have a bigger world and will bring a number of new iconic locations such as San Francisco and Yosemite Valley. Several new elements have also been added to the Forbidden West such as underwater exploration. Guerilla is scheduled for the Forbidden West to launch in the third or fourth quarter of this year on PS4 and PS5.

4. Far Cry 6

Far Cry 6 brings the action adventure genre and the main camera perspective of the Far Cry series to an island in the Caribbean called Yara. In this new ‘world’, the player plays the role of Dani Rojas, a local soldier who is trying to overthrow the dictatorial regime named Anton Castillo.

The game will come with a large selection of weapons and vehicles, in addition to the new “Fangs for Hire” system. Far Cry 6 was originally planned for release in February, but has been pushed back for an undetermined date. Far Cry 6 will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Google Stadia, Amazon Luna and PC.

5. Resident Evil Village

Resident Evil Village is the eighth game in the well-known survival horror game series , Resident Evil. The game is set several years after the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and, just like the name suggests, will take players through a mysterious village located in Romania.

The iconic character, Chris Redfield, is confirmed to appear and will be the central character in this game. Village was developed by Capcom and will carry the FPS mechanism. Available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC, Village will be released on 7 May.

6. Gotham Knights

Unlike other DC games that focus on Batman, the events of Gotham Knights begin after the death of the hero nicknamed The Caped Crusader. This game follows the story of four “Gotham Knights” namely Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl and Red Hood, who are now responsible for the peacefulness of Gotham City.

Gotham Knights will also feature the Court of Owls, a criminal organization led by an assassin nicknamed Talon. The game from WB Games Montreal will launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC this year, at an unknown date.

7. God of War Ragnarok

 The last one is the newest game from God of War, namely God of War: Ragnarok. Currently, Ragnarok is in the development stage by Santa Monica Studio and will follow the story of Kratos after the events in God of War (2018). Ragnarok will expand the God of War universe from Greek to Nordic mythology and will feature important characters from Norse mythology such as Odin and Thor.

The game will be set in the middle of Ragnarok, the final day for the Nordic gods, which starts after the events of the previous game. This game, which doesn’t have a definite release schedule yet, is known to be exclusive to the PS5 so far.
